THE TEAM NERI SOTTOLI - SELLE ITALIA - KTM IS READY TO START
In Argentina, at Vuelta a San Juan, the Team of Angelo Citracca will start its 11th season. Beside Neri Sottoli, KTM will be a new main sponsor and bike partner of the italian equipe.
Superstar Giovanni Visconti, coming from Bahrain Merida, will lead the team of young talents as captain.
"I'm so excited, my story as cyclist has started from here. I feel like I can still achieve some important wins and there is nothing better than doing it here in my second family."
Other new faces are Dayer Quintana, Etienne Van Empel, dutch climber from Team Roompot, Francesco Manuel Bongiorno, who makes his comeback as a professional, Lorenzo Fortunato, Davide Gabburo, Moreno Marchetti and Umberto Marengo. Francesco Frassi is a newcomer in the staff as Sport Director. Still in the Team is Austrians Sebastian Schönberger, who lives just a few kilometers away from the KTM Headquarter. Schönberger already has much experience with KTM bikes, as he joined the Tirol Cycling Team for many years. One of the 2019 highlights will be the Giro d'Italia.
Next year KTM Bike Industries will continue to be the official bike brand for Volta a Portugal and other relevant races. But there’s an important update: Next year KTM will sponsor the team Sporting-Tavira after 3 years supporting of W52 – FC Porto.
"This new strategy is based on the open mind for disk brake roadbikes of team Sporting-Tavira and we need to step in with new boundaries in Portuguese cycling by presenting the KTM Revelator Lisse Aero bike. KTM Pro Team rider Manuel Pliem takes the third place at Austrian National Champs XCM. It's the bronze medal for the styrian athlete at the Kitzalp Bike Festival, behind Daniel Geismayr and reigning World Champion, Alban Lakata.

Great success of the French Team Marseille 13 KTM! With a quadruple victory in the overall classification of the race "Circuit des Ardennes", the Team celebrated its greatest success. The Lithuanian Evaldas Šiškevičius won ahead of his teammate Julien Loubet, Konovalovas Ignatas and Alexandre Blain. The race went through four stages.
