For the new model year, the LYCAN family takes the next step: alongside the proven aluminium models, variants with a newly developed carbon frame are available for the first time. Lower weight, high stiffness, and precise handling deliver even more dynamic performance on the trail. The proven STRAIGHT-LINE-LINK (SLL) suspension concept ensures sensitive response, optimal traction, and outstanding control in demanding terrain. The Size-Split concept optimally matches wheel size and frame geometry. Size S rolls on 27.5-inch wheels for particularly agile handling, while sizes M, L, and XL feature 29-inch wheels for maximum stability and confident rollover performance. The two platforms also differ when it comes to the drive system: the aluminium models are powered by the powerful Bosch Performance Line CX, while all carbon models come equipped with the Bosch Performance Line CX-R as standard. This gives the new carbon generation a performance-oriented drive unit that perfectly matches its sporty character. An 800 Wh PowerTube provides the energy needed for long days on the trail. Thanks to the proven POWER TUBE TOP LOADER (PTTL) system, the battery can be conveniently removed upwards from the downtube and just as easily reinserted.
