For the new model year, the CHACANA family takes a major step forward: alongside the proven aluminium variants, selected models are now available with a newly developed carbon frame for the first time. Lower weight, high stiffness, and precise handling give this versatile touring bike an even more dynamic character. Compared to the trail-focused PROWLER and KAPOHO models, the CHACANA puts a stronger emphasis on comfort and touring capability without sacrificing genuine off-road performance. The proven STRAIGHT-LINE-LINK (SLL) suspension concept with 130 mm of travel at the front and 125 mm at the rear delivers sensitive response and confident control across a wide variety of terrain. The Size-Split concept optimally matches wheel size and frame geometry. Size S rolls on 27.5-inch wheels for particularly agile handling, while sizes M, L, and XL feature 29-inch wheels for maximum stability and confident rollover performance. Powerful support is provided by the Bosch Performance Line CX, combined with an 800 or 720 Wh PowerTube battery. Thanks to the proven POWER TUBE TOP LOADER (PTTL) system, the battery can be conveniently removed upwards from the downtube and just as easily reinserted. For riders looking for even greater everyday practicality, the LFC variants come fully equipped with lights, fenders, and a luggage rack – ready for daily use as well as the next big tour.
