KTM’s factory mountainbike team is getting some french power for 2023. After the dissolution of the team KTM Vittoria, Mathias Guay finds his place in the Austrian KTM squad, with a two-year contract. The 20-year-old Frenchman was already French champion in the junior category and finished the 2022 season with U23 World Cup overall fifth place. Factory team manager Florian Moser sees Guay as one of the hottest future stocks in cross country racing. Mattighofen is also happy about the conclusion of the contract. "We have been thinking about integrating Mathis into the factory team for a while. He is young, fast and an expert when it comes to technical understanding on the product," explains Marketing Manager Matthias Grick.
